Cancelled Seminar Message
March 17, 2020
The scheduled AELE Use of Force program at The Orleans Hotel on May 4-7, 2020 is canceled and will be rescheduled.
AELE leadership is watching the developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and is implementing several of the recommendations and mandates of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the United States and State of Nevada governments, and the World Health Organization (WHO). These recommendations and mandates are the reasons for the cancellation and the rescheduling of the Use of Force program.
AELE leadership did not want to expose attendants, presenters, or staff to unnecessary health risks. This decision is not made lightly or quickly but following the fluid events associated with COVID-19 and the many Las Vegas hotels and restaurants temporarily suspending operations, this proactive decision is made solely for everyone’s health and welfare.
For over 50 years the AELE has been a leader in law enforcement and legal educational programs to serve these communities and the public. AELE will continue to support these communities through its free online legal library and future programs. During these trying times, thank you for keeping your communities safe.
Sincerely,
JOHN
