Memo to all attendants for Workshops at the
Holiday Inn-Golden Gateway, San Francisco.
HOTEL INFORMATION: All
sessions will be held at the Holiday Inn-Golden Gateway, 1500 Van Ness Avenue,
San Francisco, California 94109.

flat rate for registered guests and for those attending a meeting.
To get the group rate, you must use
the hotel’s group code that appears on the workshop brochure, which also can be
viewed online.
All cancellations must be received
as promptly as possible. Please call
AELE at (800) 763-2802 (voicemail if closed) or write us at <info@aele.org>. Cancellations made after the Monday one week before the workshop,
or "no-shows" are subject to a $75.00 administrative assessment to
cover luncheon and other costs which cannot be canceled.
If you have to cancel your
reservation to our workshop, please do not cancel your hotel reservation
without calling us first. We may
need to transfer your room to another attendant. When calling AELE to cancel your reservation, please inform us
whether or not you have a room at the hotel and we will make the necessary
arrangements. However, if you must
cancel the Saturday or Sunday before the workshop, please cancel your room
directly with the hotel. Our office is
closed on weekends.
PAYMENT OF TUITION: Please DO NOT bring cash or checks
to the workshop if your tuition is unpaid.
For security purposes, please mail your checks to AELE at PO Box 75401,
Chicago IL 60675-5401 -- which is our bank.
MATERIALS: All workshop materials will be distributed
to each attendant Monday morning.
REGISTRATION: The workshop registration will begin at 8:15
a.m. Monday morning in the hallway, either on the lobby or lower level. The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. Please disregard any signs posted by the
hotel indicating that the meeting starts at any time other than 9:00 a.m. Attendants should pick up their materials
and nametags shortly before the session is to begin. Coffee will be available in the registration area beginning at
8:30 a.m.
SECURITY PRECAUTIONS: For your protection, all attendants
will be asked to provide a government issued photo identity card (Driver's
license, Bar or other official ID) to receive their materials. Door monitors
will check nametags for entry and reentry.
Please wear the nametag throughout the seminar.
LUNCH: The registration fee covers luncheons on
Monday and Tuesday, which will be served in the hotel to all workshop
attendants.
MEETING TIMES: The program begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday and
Tuesday, but starts at 8:00 am on Wednesday (to allow you to leave at 11:00
a.m.). Lunch on Monday and Tuesday is
from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. The workshop concludes at 4:45 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday
and Tuesday, and at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the
conference room. You may smoke outside
the conference room during stretch breaks scheduled throughout the day.
CLOTHING: Uniforms or business suits are not required;
comfortable clothing of the season is recommended.
SUBSTITUTIONS: You may send an alternate for all or part of
the sessions you cannot personally attend at no extra charge. No refunds will be made if only a portion of
the workshop is attended. However, you
may return to a future workshop to attend the missed sessions without repaying
the tuition costs.
RETURN: The workshop will be over by 11 a.m. on
Wednesday. This will permit you to catch
flights leaving the airport from 1:00 p.m. on.
CHECKOUT: Hotel checkout time is 12:00 noon on
Wednesday.
