Attendee Information
LAS VEGAS HOTEL INFORMATION
All Las Vegas Workshops will be held at the Orleans Hotel & Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89103. Telephone: (702) 365-7111 or (800) ORLEANS [800-675-3267]. The hotel is a city to itself, with restaurants ranging from $ to $$$, including an inexpensive buffet and take-away food from Sbarro’s and Subway. The hotel has a discount liquor store as well. There is a free shuttle to “The Strip.” Ask at the front desk or consult the hotel guidebook in your room.

ROOM RESERVATIONS
You can make your reservations by telephone or online. Parking is complimentary for all hotel guests and visitors. When making your reservation, ask for the special rate for the AELE workshop. The group rate for each specific seminar is found on the seminar description.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved our group rate for the meeting dates, and available until four weeks before our starting date. When calling the hotel, the group code must be used to obtain this rate. Because of computer-generated promotional pricing changes, rates could be lower if booked without using the group code, especially on other websites that offer discount hotel rooms. Check at http://www.orleanscasino.com/
However, not all discount websites are reliable. Normally there is no problem, but if there is an ongoing citywide event, reservations from Internet discount sites might not be honored. The Orleans hotel guarantees rooms reserved on their website.
Reservations are the individual attendant’s responsibility and should be made as early as possible. The AELE group rate is guaranteed only when a person calls the hotel’s toll-free number or books on the hotel’s official website. Because of dynamic pricing, the rate could be lower on the Internet, but the hotel is not obligated to accept reservations made on generic (Internet) travel websites.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be received as promptly as possible. Please call AELE at (800) 763-2802 (voicemail if closed) or write us at <info@aele.org>.
Payment received by the AELE for seminar tuition, live or virtual, is subject to a $300 per attendant cancellation fee when the cancellation occurs after the deadline stated in the seminar content. If you have any additional questions or would like to request a refund, feel free to contact us.
PAYMENT OF TUITION
After registration is received an invoice will be emailed identifying payment options (credit card, check, purchase order). Please DO NOT bring cash or checks to the workshop to pay your tuition. REGISTRATION
The workshop registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the hallway outside the meeting room. The meeting starts on the first day at 9:00 a.m. Please disregard any signs posted by the hotel that indicate that the meeting starts at any time other than 9:00 a.m. Attendants should pick up their materials and nametags shortly before the session is to begin. Coffee will be available in the registration area beginning at 30-45 minutes before a session begins.

LUNCH
Lunch is provided for those attending live in Las Vegas when a full day is scheduled. Half days do not include lunch.
CREDIT CARDS
Las Vegas hotels want a major credit card or a cash deposit. A debit card is sometimes not acceptable for room guarantee purposes. At the time of check-in, a credit card in the name of a city or county may be declined unless the individual’s name is embossed on the card. The hotel reservation office can provide a specific answer to an individual situation.

CLOTHING
Uniforms or business suits are not required; comfortable clothing of the season is encouraged.
